Dr. Jesse Conforti
Dr. Jesse Conforti is a registered Clinical and School Psychologist (Supervised Practice) working under the supervision of Dr. Kelty Berardi. She provides psychological assessment and therapy services for children, adolescents, and adults. Her assessment experience includes comprehensive psychological, psychoeducational, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) evaluations. She has worked across private practice, schools, hospitals, and community-based settings, supporting individuals with concerns including anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, ADHD, ASD, and trauma-related difficulties. Her therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed interventions, psychodynamic and attachment-based therapies, and play therapy.
Dr. Conforti earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) at Adler University in Chicago, IL, after completing her residency at Walter P. Reuther Psychiatric Hospital in Westland, MI. She focused on Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology, with training at therapeutic day schools, in juvenile detention centres, and with youth in both inpatient and outpatient hospital treatment programs. Her work has focused on assessment, diagnostic clarification, and treatment planning, with careful consideration of co-occurring psychological, emotional, and behavioural concerns. In addition to her private practice work, she provides services in the Eating Disorders Program at Lakeridge Health.
Dr. Conforti utilizes evidence-based approaches while creating an environment that is client-centred, compassionate, and warm. Her goal is to develop a therapeutic relationship through trust and collaboration where it feels safe to explore challenges while working towards meaningful goals.
